Girvan historian roar into new year with motorcycling talk

The first meeting of the Girvan and District History Society for 2012 will hear tales of motorcycling and fundraising from guest speaker Denis Gallacher.

The meeting will be in the McKechnie Institute on Thursday 26th January starting at 7.30pm, when Denis will be telling stories of his life racing motorbikes and raising funds for cancer care.

Entry is £1 for members, and £2 for non-members, including a cup of tea and a biscuit. All welcome
